How Approved Claims work

How it updates: approved claims are strictly user-controlled. Nothing is ever promoted into this list automatically — not from finalized localization, reviewer edits or generated copy.

• Approved Claims do not change from AI output.
• Reviewer edits do not silently become claims.
• Only authorized workspace roles can manage claims.
• Claims can be added manually or imported from an Excel template.
• Numbers, qualifiers and approved wording are preserved exactly as entered.

These alternatives change the meaning of the original offer. The approved claim tells Localizethat which statement is actually approved.

Approved claims help separate what the company has explicitly approved from what an AI model might otherwise infer from nearby information.

• What parts of the wording must be preserved
• Whether translation is allowed
• Where the claim may be used
• Any wording that must not be inferred from it

Use Approved Claims for statements where accuracy matters. Do not use them as a general copy library. Reusable brand language belongs under previous approved language instead.
