This policy explains the cookies and browser storage Localizethat uses. The table below is generated from an audit of what the product actually sets — nothing more.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Browsers also offer localStorage and sessionStorage, which serve a similar purpose. We treat all of them the same way in this policy.
Some are strictly necessary — the service cannot work without them. Others are optional, and those require your permission before they are used.
2. How Localizethat uses them
Today, Localizethat uses only strictly necessary storage: keeping you signed in, remembering your cookie choice, and running the payment checkout when you deliberately start one.
We do not run analytics, advertising, retargeting or session-recording scripts. There are no tracking pixels or third-party marketing embeds on the website or in the application.
3. What we set
The full inventory is listed in the table below, with provider, purpose, category and duration.
4. Categories
- Necessary — required to run the service and provide features you have asked for. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional, Analytics and Marketing — Localizethat does not currently use any storage in these categories. If we introduce any, they will default to off, will not load before you agree, and will appear in the cookie settings panel and in this table.
5. Your choices
You can open cookie settings at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page. The panel shows every category that applies, lets you turn optional categories on or off, and records your choice with a timestamp.
Because we currently use only necessary storage, there is nothing optional to switch off yet — and for that reason we do not show a consent banner that would ask you for permission we do not need. That changes automatically the moment any optional storage is introduced.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking necessary storage will prevent you from staying signed in.
6. Changes to this policy
If we add or remove cookies we will publish a new version of this policy with a new version number and effective date.
